I am going to newport today with my husband and will be staying there until thursday afternoon. So far, I%26#39;ve decided to do mansion tours, cliff walk, ocean drive, and newport harbor walk south...Does this sound good? Also, do you think it%26#39;s worth driving up to Province town and look around? or should I just stick to newport?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Provincetown ? or Providence?
Providence the city will be about a 45 minute drive, but you can take the scenic route through wickford, east greenwich etc...and can be an enjoyable day trip.
Provincetown will be more of a hike, about 2 1/2 hours if you drive straight through without stopping anywhere else on the Cape. There won;t be too much going on in P-Town this week, but there are a few restaurants, shops sights to see, open, but it%26#39;ll be more of a sleepy summer resort about to awaken, then really being awake.

I%26#39;d just stay in NPT, you%26#39;ve got a busy adjenda, in any event, scrap P-town as it quite a ride to get there.
