This June my fiancé and I want to travel to Williamsburg, VA to get married. It could be in Jamestown, Yorktown or anywhere close. It will be a simple wedding with only 5 people in attendance. Does anyone have any tips on where to get married? We would like it to be some place special – a garden like setting. We saw photos of College Landing Park, the Historic Comfort Inn at 706 Bypass Rd, saw a couple photos of nice gazebos, waterfalls, etc. Do you have to get a permit or permission to get married in a public place?
Also, any local suggestions for a couple of licensed officiates?
