We are taking a day trip to Block Island this Sunday and are looking for advice on where to eat. We will be flying in and will be there for lunch. Do we need to arrange transportation from the airport? Or is it walking distance? We will have my 59 yr old dad and 3 yr old niece, so we don%26#39;t want too strenuous of a walk : ) What area is the airport closest to? We would love some really good new england seafood suggestions, they don%26#39;t have to be fancy, just really good.

The airport is a great place for lunch! I would suggest a cab to The Oar of The BeachHead. Bit of a trek to town with a llittle one. Have a wonderful time.
The seafood bisque at the BeachHead is superb.
