Hi! My husand and I are coming to BI for the day. We would like to take a long bike ride and go for a swim. Can anyone recommend a beach that is open to the public, where we could change and shower before heading back onto the Ferry? Thanks

Ballard Beach would probably be your best bet as it is right next to the ferry landing in Old Harbor. You can take showers and change by the dock on your way out of the beach.
