Kitchen Museum

Has anyone been to Johnson and Wales Cooking School and Kitchen Museum? Is it worth the trip? Would be a day trip from southern NH.

Kitchen Museum

The Culinary Archives %26amp; Museum at JWU is an interesting and different type of museum. Most people spend about an hour studying displays. It%26#39;s worth a trip if you combine it with other attractions. The new Botanical Gardens/Greenhouse are due to open at Roger Williams Park on March 2. The park is very close to the Culinary Museum. There are many attractions in Providence. Many Providence tours combine the Culinary Museum with a visit to and meal in the Federal Hill neighborhood.

Kitchen Museum

Yes if you%26#39;re into anything having to do with culinary arts it would definitly be worth it.

Thanks to you both, we have not explored RI so we are looking forward to a little jaunt south. Do you know the name of the diner that is outside of Providence (I think) that is famous?

Haven Bros. diner in Providence is located next to City Hall each evening - just google for more info. By the way there is a great diner section in the Culinary Archives and as you may know R.I. is the birthplace of the diner.

I didn%26#39;t know that, but I love old diners! When we travel we make a point to eat at them. Thanks!

The diner outside of Providence is the Modern Diner in Pawtucket. Great breakfasts.

Are the Flower Show and the Museum doable in one day?

yes! about 20 minutes drive from the Convention Center to the Culinary Archives
