Newport Jazz Festival

Hi All,

I am considering visiting Newport for the jazz festival in August. Can anyone suggest any hotels that might have packages (tickets, rooms, meal%26#39;s) available. We are not picky at all, and are willing to spend a decent amount. Any help that you would offer would be great!

Don%26#39;t know what you mean by decent amount -- Castle Hill Inn is highly recommended, not far from Ft. Adams, but pricey. Newport has many inns and B%26amp;Bs that are great -- Francis Malbone Inn and Hydrangea House, to name two. For chain hotels, the Hyatt on Goat Island (in Newport Harbor) is good.

You might also want to check with the Newport Visitor%26#39;s Bureau (they have a website) and also check gonewport.com, which often lists packages for special events.

Thanks for the websites, I will keep an eye out for when they start to offer bundled packages. It seems like I am getting started a bit early. Last year I was to late and could not find a hotel room anywhere remotely close, and the few that I found where almost $1000 a night.
