Newport in late April???

We are thinking of taking a long weekend and staying in Newport. Is late April a bad idea??

We%26#39;re thinking maybe the weekend of the 20th or 27th.

There is never a ';bad'; time to go to Newport! But April is especially nice as the weather isn%26#39;t too cold and the crowds are minimal. I grew up there, so any questions you have I would be happy to answer.
