Our Carnival Cruise will be docking in Newport on 3/24 from 11:30am till 7:30pm.
What do we have time to do? Is anything in walking distance from the dock? or would we have to get transportation to take us places?

You%26#39;ll be docking in the harbour and have to take a shuttle to shore which will drop you off in the center of all the action. There is plenty to see within walking distance.

Plenty of shopping exploring etc, within wlaking distance. I%26#39;m sure there will be excursions on the boat that will include Mansion Trips, but if you want to do them on your own, you could take a trolley up to bellevue and do them on your own. You%26#39;ll tender in from the Harbor, and be dropped off right at the park where there is a bus stop and info booth.
Wait....March 24? That%26#39;s already passed. Do you mean April 24th on the Miracle?
