Mansions, Cliff Walk, 10 mile Drive if you%26#39;ll have a car.
Restaurants: Lots to choose from:
Casual: Brick Alley, Red Parrot, Salas%26#39;, Scales and Shells, Zeldas
Nicer: Mooring, 22 Bowens, Clarke Cooke House, Rhumbline, White Horse Tavern, Tuckers, Pronto
Funky Bar/Lounge: 5th Element, Salvation Cafe, 180,
Nightlife: 5th Element, Pelham, Blues Cafe, Rhino Bar (Fun Band ';Those Guys'; at the Rhino this Satruday)
Plenty of shopping....more opening every weekend....
Too early for any sort of water activities....except there might be a ';Seal Tour'; still being offered...I think they run until April...

Here%26#39;s my two cents:
22 bowen - totally overrated and way over priced
One of the best meals in town is at the West Deck - always wondeful (or Trattroria Simpatico - 2 miles from newport in Jamestown)
Best breakfast - omelets at ocean breeze on lower thames accross from firehouse pizza - or for brunch - White Horse Taven - not cheap - but charming and romantic
Afternoon cocktail - black pearl, clarke cookhouse - both downtown on the wharfs
