We have rented a cabin on a lake close to Bar Harbor for the 3rd week in July. We have to be there on a Sat. Any ideas on how long it would take us to get from Narragansett to that area?? Should we leave on Fri. and stay overnight somewhere on the way? We will have our small dog with us.

It takes 90 min. to get to Boston, probably less than 5 hours total to Bar Harbor. You probably can%26#39;t check into the cabin before 3 so there isn%26#39;t any big need to get up there earlier. (Obviously you need to look into the check in time and plan for a trip to the grocery on the way.)
