Fairfield Newport at Inn on the Harbor

We are plannig to stay two days in Newport on our way to Boston. Is the Fairfield Newport at Inn on the Harbor good place to stay? The palce doesn%26#39;t seems to have it%26#39;s own webpages so it%26#39;s hard to get good picture about it. Altough those two rewievs here are good.

We travel with two small children (2 years and 5 months). We want nice and clean place to stay which locatoin is central and it%26#39;s easy to get around. We are especially interested about the Clif walk. Is Fairfield Newport at Inn on the Harbor place for us?

I believe this is a timeshare. It is about two block from the middle of downtown. Since you will use a strowler - all should be well.

Fairfield is ok, but it is not very close to the Cliff Walk if that is your main interest. It is close to downtown shopping, restaurants etc. but if you want to stay closer to the Cliff walk (which is really only about 1.5 or 2 miles away) then you might try a B+B that allows children - maybe something like Victorian Ladies? that%26#39;s the closest one I can think of and it is also close to the shops on Bellevue Ave which are nice. If you do stay at the Fairfield beware of the promotions, I have heard that they try VERY hard to sell you one of their timeshare/condos and can be quite annoying about it.
