St Patrick's parade

I just read today that there is a St. Patrick%26#39;s parade in Newport on March 11th. Is it any good? Is it a good night in the pubs afterwards? Thanks.

yes and yes. Draws a good crowd depending on weather and bands from all over the upper east. Bars very crowded.

We actually plan a week%26#39;s vacation around the parade and St. Patrick%26#39;s Day. The parade is a lot of fun and the nighttime is even better! You should give it a try...

The biggest party event of the year.

Good parade. You can pick from several pubs along the parade route. They usually paint the line in the center of the road Kelly green when it hits the irish section, referred to as ';The Fifth Ward';
