Family vacation (with pool)

We have two children (aged 4 and 6) are looking for a resonably priced destination where we can rent a villa.

We are looking for good weather, activities for the children, family friendly restaurants and things to do as a family.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

If you enjoy the beach, there are many rentals available in coastal southern RI (Narragansett, South Kingstown). You could try a site such as cyberrentals. There is a lot to do in the area-many beautiful beaches,playgrounds and in Summer there are a lot of festivals and activities such as outdoor concerts for children. You can visit historic Wickford village, take the ferry to Block Island, or visit Providence, all are close by. You might also enjoy Newport-there is a lot to see and do, and several of the accomodations there have pools, but it can be pricey in July/August. If you can visit in June or September, the weather is nice and the prices are lower. Good luck!
