Better for Romantic Dinner

I was wondering which would be better for a romantic dinner. Canfield House or Tucker%26#39;s Bistro? We are getting away for one night in Newport since we didn%26#39;t get the opportunity to take a honeymoon yet. I want to pick the right place with atmosphere and food. Thanks.

Tuckers is nice and the food is very good but if you want a really romantic dinner I would recommend Castlehill. It is in a great location on Ocean Drive and the service and food are wonderful.

I second Castle Hill and also would very highly recommend The Chanler. It%26#39;s situated at the end of the Cliff Walk, overlooking first beach. It%26#39;s a beautiful high-end boutique hotel with great food and service.

I probably would choose Tuckers. Castle Hill is quite nice but, this time of year with the sun setting so early.... I would reccomend it for lunch....That way you can ';sea'; what you are paying for FYI Castle Hill has gone ';prixe fix (sp?)';

I don%26#39;t think Tuckers or the Canfield house has the best food on the island.

Couple of other suggestions:

Upstairs at 22 bowen - expensive for steaks - but certainly will feel special.

Although the spiced pear is probably the the best food on the island - it%26#39;s not for everyones palate - very upscale taste for sure.

I love the west deck. Food is awesome - ask for a nice table for two - it will not disappoint.

While tuckers has a romantic atmosphere - save that for the hotel - and really enjoy your meal at west deck!
