We are considering aweek long vaction in the charlestown RI area. is this a nice well kept area? Last year we went to Plum Island MA and we were very disappointed. The whole beach area was very shabby and run down. We would like to get a rental with in walking distance of the ocean. Have two boys 13 and 10

You are close enough to drive down for the day and check out the area...right now is a great time to stop in agent%26#39;s offices and stroll on the beach...with your dog...our wife...If you were writing from the West coast I might add more but get out of Seth Thomas town and pack a picnic and see for yourself...80 miles door to door...what are you witing for?
