We are flying in to Providence next Tuesday 23rd to pick up a vehicle. We will be arriving at about 9pm and want to book reasonable accommodations for that one night before we pick up the car and start the rest of the journey. Any ideas or comments on a nice place to stay convenient to get to from the airport (taxi, shuttle, etc.). Much appreciated.

Dont know what your budget is but there is a fairly new Radisson hotel right next to the airport, on line prices say you can get a room for 129.

Its a matter of choice though, just letting you know there is an hotel even closer than the one listed by the previous poster.
someone on this board just stayed at the Comfort Inn and liked it. It %26#39;s just minutes from the airport. If they are referring to the Motel 6 off Jefferson Blvd, beware it is near and within smell of the sewage treatment plant. There are several restaurants close to the Comfort Inn such as Bertucci%26#39;s, Legal Sea Foods, Chelo%26#39;s and Dave%26#39; Bar and Grill. If looking for some RI fare, Chelo%26#39;s has great clam cakes and chowder. By the way, TF Green is actually in Warwick so don%26#39;t get confused when booking hotel.
