If I were you and I was not going to rent a car, I would contact the hotel and ask if they provide shuttle service to or from the airport. If they dont, they might be able to clue you in to something that I am not aware of.

Otherwise, you have two choices: bus or taxi. The bus would probably prove to be inconvenient but depending on your budget might be what you want to do. You wouuld take the bus from the airport to providence and then transfer there to a bus headed for newport. That would probably extend your trip by at least an hour since providence is in the opposite direction than newport is when you are in the airport.

Second choice would be taxi. I%26#39;m not sure how much it would cost (the hotel might be able to tell you an idea) but it would be about a 30 - 45 minute trip.

A final option would be a taxi to the newport ferry that leaves from providence but I%26#39;m not sure if the times match up for you. For information on the ferry see the Rhode island Public Transportation Agency (RIPTA) web site.

Go to the RIPTA.COM site for bus and ferry info.

I don%26#39;t think the ferry will help at all since the airport is in Warwick, not Providence. There%26#39;s a button you can click on the RIPTA site called ';Trip Planner'; where it asks you what town you%26#39;re starting in (Warwick) and where you want to end up (Newport).

From there, it will ask for more specific locations and it will take you to a page where you click on a pull down list for Warwick and select ';TF Green Airport '; and on the pull down list for Newport, select ';Gateway Center'; as that%26#39;s right next door to the Marriott on America%26#39;s Cup. It should be pretty easy to find the bus that best meets your schedule.

Also, as the first poster said, before you do any of that call the hotel and ask if they provide airport pick-up service.
