Which restaraunts (local hangouts) have the best lobster in or near Providence? Any suggestions?

People LOVE heminways but I have never had a good experience there. Over the last 15 years I have probably been there one every three years or so and never really enjoyed it. One time the food made me physically ill. It is a nice space to be in but I dont think their food is very good.

I have never been to the providence oyster bar but to put my two cents in, I would suggest trying that place over heminways.

My favorite seafood in RI isnt exactly ';near'; providence, it is the wharf tavern in bristol. It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown but it is in a beautiful spot.

Too bad about the bad experience at Hemenway%26#39;s. But just as a point of clarification on Wharf Tavern, it%26#39;s in Warren, not Bristol. Had a very nice meal there myself in June with my Dad.
