Newport 1 day trip

Hello all,

I am planning a 1 day trip with a few friends, while I have been to Newport many times, they haven%26#39;t and I would like some help in fnalizing what I have.

Arrive at Newport Mansions approx. 9am for the Breakers, and then the Marble House. approx. 3 hours total.

Lunch: NEED YOUR HELP, quick lunch, something tasty. approx. 1 hour.

Newport Vineyard: approx. 1 1/2 hrs.-2 hours.

Castlehill Lighthouse: just some pictures walking around.

Back into Newport downtown for some walking around the local shops, and then 5pm for the Ghost Tours. approx. 90 min.

Dinner: NEED YOUR HELP, something nice sit down. Doesn%26#39;t matter where just not too far from Newport, we are driving back to NY that night.

I guess thats what I had in mind, if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be great, but the food is the most important part.

Newport 1 day trip

I would HAVE to have lunch at the White Horse Tavern, the history of the place alone makes it worth the trip. And the food is very good as well, if a bit pricey.

I love Newport...my honey lives there and it%26#39;s one of my favorite spots on earth.
