Try the ';Adele Turner Inn'; on Pelham Street in Newport, RI... My wife and I have been there twice and enjoyed both visits. Last visit was in February 2006. Excellent , made to order, breakfasts !!! There is also a sister inn called the Cliffside, which we have visited but never stayed at. They do run specials, and occaisionally run an optional wine tour to local vinyards which is really nice. Try to stay within walking distance of downtown... lots of great places to eat and shop!
