looking for a nice B%26amp;B that is in walking distance to all the action and would run us around $150.00. Any ideas?

If this is for November , there won%26#39;t be much %26#39;Action%26#39; . The main things open will be the Mansions , and the stores / tennis hall of fame a bit down the road from them . There are about 1/3 of the restaurants , and gift shops open in the Thames st. area . There will be 4 or 5 bars open with entertainment on the weekend . The normal closing time for these is 12:45 AM . The Newport Gambling Casino will be open , but this is mostly just a big slot machine area . No table games , little nightlife / bar . If you go in Nov. Make sure you make plans or reservatins for things to occupy your time . This time of year it is good to go with a SO and share a botttle of champagne while you relax .

Try the Black Duck. Within walking of MANY bars, restaurants and shops. It is reasonable, clean, free parking
I%26#39;ve always found this site to be helpful:

$150/night in Newport is a challenge, and you didn%26#39;t say when you were thinking of coming, but there definitely are B%26amp;Bs (The Beech Tree Inn is one) that are fairly well-located and under your price cap.
