Help with Hotel or B&B, Sept 1 and 2

My fiance and I are looking to take a quick trip from NJ to Newport this coming Labor Day weekend.

Would like some suggestions on hotels or Inns near the wharf perhaps or some other area so we don%26#39;t have to move the car too much. Also, something economical. I took a peak on line an find the per night costs to be astronomical.

Try Americas Cup . Or consider staying in Jamestown and taking the water taxi over to Newport .

Will be expensive this weekend in Newport just about anywhere you stay. You can try Newport Bay Club. Less expensive then alternatives but not nearly as nice. It is on Themes. You will be able to park your car and walk to shops and restaurants.

ditto for Jamestown B%26amp;B%26#39;s, or check out Sea View Inn in Middletown, and just drive in. Park on Wellington Ave.
