Leaves turning yet???

My husband and I are planning to spend a few days in Newport next weekend. I am wondering if the leaves are turning yet?

Sorry, that%26#39;s too early for us. You%26#39;ll see a spot here or there on an occasional tree, and just a very, very slight indication on others. We usually don%26#39;t get good color around here until late October. I haven%26#39;t checked other websites for foliage color info, but if things are running close to form, you%26#39;d have to go up to southern New Hampshire and Vermont right now to see good color.
