Hi, me and my wife are planning to travel the new england states to catpure the fall colors and places in these states. Can anyone please recommend me some places to visit in Rhode Island that are a must see? The main reason for this trip is for photography, any help is appreciated. :)

Where to go in Rhode Island for photography in the fallYou may want to check out this website as it so hard to try and determine when the good colors will be in RI.
There are so many factors that will come into play in the next few weeks. If we don%26#39;t get a lot of rain and wind before your visit NE is suppose to have wonderful color this year.
http://www.yankeefoliage.com/ This site is tracking the foliage, so it should be helpful in your quest
The new issue of yankee magazine has RI as foliage attraction articles.
I think you can see some of the information here:

Yup, foliage is on everyone%26#39;s minds this time of year, including ours. Have to say, many years, we don%26#39;t usually see the peak of the color til at least mid-Oct or maybe the 3rd week. It is just starting to turn- this means ';some'; orange leaves in NH and ME. (Per another poster and per my friend from Maine who was here Friday.) Take a look at web info for the Berkshires (MA%26#39;s western mountains) and the towns there. Or, consider heading further north into VT or NH. (I.e., places with higher elevations.)
Yes, Yankeefoliage.com (a site of Yankee Magazine)is the best way to track. As for photography, the advantage to heading further north is that there are many quaint old towns and villages, which would make good pix, whether or not you hit the foliage at the exact right time.
By the way, it is very late to look for a great B%26amp;B.
As for RI, you have not mentioned why you would focus on this state. Are you thinking that you%26#39;ll visit all over New England? Have you posted on VT and NH sites? Because, if foliage and photography are what%26#39;s driving you- and you%26#39;re coming all the way from TX- I%26#39;d say keep to northen New England.
The perfect place is the Scituate Reservoir. Plenty of trees set along a reservoir. Scituate, Rt 116, quaint villages in the area. We take rides out there just to see the foliage in the fall.
Good luck!
