Lunch spot

We will be visiting Brown University next week and will want to eat lunch somewhere before we leave to go back to Boston. Any recommendations for lunch close to Brown?

A nice walk from Brown will bring you to Cafe Choklad on the corner of North Main and Thomas Street . You might like to visit The first Baptist Church too ( before noon or after 1:00 pm). Walk a little further and follow the Riverwalk to Citron or Union Station Brewery just to the left of Waterplace park.

Rue de l%26#39;espoir is listed in today%26#39;s Providence Journal as the restaurant where many celebrities visiting Brown U. choose to eat.

Love the bread at Rue De L%26#39;Espoir! And there are lots of places to eat right on Thames Street in the heart of the area.

Thames? I assume that you mean Thayer Street.

Yes, of course, Thayer Street. (Been writing too many responses to Newport forums, I guess).

Anyway, a couple of other suggestions as long as I%26#39;m here -- Meeting Street Cafe and Andreas (if you like Greek food).
