My sister and a few friends were thinking of spending a weekend in Providence prior to her upcoming wedding. It will be the first weekend in November. I was looking for suggestions that run the gammut-hotels with great suties, dinner, activities in the area, and of course if there were any dance clubs. Are there any low-key %26#39;spa%26#39; type of places around? We are mostly in the mid30-mid-40 range. So places that aren%26#39;t too young would be helpful. I tried finding out if the Waterfire was still running, but can%26#39;t seem to locate a schedule. I went years ago and it was beautiful. Most of us will be coming from the Boston area so it won%26#39;t be too far. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks-

Waterfire only goes through October. There%26#39;s a website for it, for future information -- www.waterfire.org.
I like the RI Monthly magazine website for one source of information about what%26#39;s going on when -- check out the calendar page on www.rimonthly.com.
There%26#39;s a day spa called Spadyssey right downtown on Dorrance Street that offers bridal party packages. Never been there myself, but you might want to check it out.

Blueberry Cove Inn is having their Chocolate Morning Noon and Night weekend Nov. 3-4 if you have chocolate fiends in the group. Narraganssett has several nice day spas, has great dining, and is close to plenty of things to do.
Try L Dolce Villa on Federal Hill. See what kind of package they can offer.
